Soar Bottom River Cruises offer river cruises and boat trips around Nottingham, through the heart of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and along the banks of the Trent.
Public Weekend Cruises
At the weekends throughout the summer season the trip boat operates from The Steamboat Inn at Trent Lock, Sawley. From here we run approximately 20 minute trips for smaller groups and individuals (no booking is required). The first trip departs at approximately 12 noon and the last trip at approximately 5 PM.
Directions to the Steamboat Inn.
From junction 24 of the M1, follow the A50 north (signed Stoke), take the first exit (signed Shardlow / C. Donnington). at the roundabout turn right towards Long Eaton and follow that road past Sawley Marina and then take the right hand turn signed Lock Lane and Trent Lock Golf Club. At the end of Lock Lane there is a car park and the boat trips run from the river on the other side of the pub.
